The Tactics Journal Community is now accepting applications. Anyone can apply, and it is free. It combines a social network, community forum, and chat in one platform for coaches, football professionals, and fans.

Learning is not the hard part. You can learn anything about this game from where you are sitting, for free, in any language. What you cannot do on your own is get in front of experts.

That is what the community is for. A space for coaches to gather, collaborate, and connect. A place to talk to experts you would never otherwise have access to.

The goal is to give you your own “Tactics Journal.” To build tools like our tactics board. To help you find a job in football. To give you access to talk to the most influential minds in the game with our AMAs. To help you promote your work on your own blog or publication.

We are building a widget you can add to your own site. The discussion on your blog is mirrored onto the Tactics Journal community, and it stays attached. Boosting engagement in your work.

Connect your blog to your community profile and everything you publish posts to the community on its own, for free. If you write on Substack or Medium, you can add a link to your publication instead.

Social platforms bury a post the moment you put a link in it. We do not. The timeline is chronological, your link is the point of the post, and the work we think is worth reading gets shared on our own social media.

That is a chance to put your work in front of people of importance in football who would never see it in the sea of social media.

The community is free to join, but you will have to apply. The review process keeps the quality, culture, and outcomes at the highest level. You do not need experience in football to join, but if you say you have experience, we check.
